How do I turn "setup new device" in wifi settings off.

Trying to talk to a thermostat and it wont allow me to connect to their wifi which is needed to use the app. Only sends me through "set up new device" and fails every time.

For anyone that has this problem, I was using the Honeywell T6 Pro. disable WAC in settings on thermostat and then connect like usual.

Your best solution would be to contact the thermostat manufacturer and ask their support about setup issues.

I found a work around. I had to disable WAC on the unit.

Seems it has a very low security setting if it was WAC. Glad you were able to get it worked out.
