I installed MacOS Monterey on my early 2015 MacBook Air and it's BEYOND slow and not running correctly at all. Please HELP!

I installed MacOS Monterey on my early 2015 MacBook Air and it is terrible. Running slow, freezing, and not loading some pages. I belated read that early 2015 MacBook may not be compatible with Monterey. So what do I do now? Do I have to uninstall, and if so, how? Please help, I am a hospice caregiver and can't work without my internet to do research for my patients. Thank you
