Residing in Dubai - a local reseller sold me a new iphone 13 mini (boxed and un-opened) which according to Dubai Apple Store was purchased outside the UAE. Can I subscribe for AppleCare-plus here in Dubai for this phone ?

Many thanks for your swift response. Time to pass the phone back to the supplier and re-try elsewhere.
The warranty and AppleCare / AppleCare+ are only valid in the country where the phone was originally sold. For example, If you purchased it in the US, you can only buy additional coverage from Apple in the US and that coverage will only be valid in the US.
The warranty and AppleCare/AppleCare+ on the iPhone are not international.
