Didn't think this was such a difficult question but my carrier (chat) had no clue...
When I long press "1" to call my voicemail, it asks me to enter my PIN number, (as usual)
Before, with my Android phone, it was fairly simple to go edit the voicemail number to enter a "pause" and the PIN number so when I call my voicemail it automatically enters my PIN number for me...
is this possible on iPhone and if so, how?

You can’t. But you can create a Contact to call your voicemail, and put the pause in that. Or you can ask your carrier to enabled visual voicemail, then you will never have to call your voicemail again.

With many carriers, calling your own phone number, from that same phone, will dial straight into voicemail and prompt for a password. That's basically what the "long press 1" shortcut does.
Some have an option to remove the password prompt when calling from your own phone.
If you are asked to enter your voicemail PIN code, you must enter immediately.
On iPhone there is not a pause.
No no no is there a way to edit my number so when I call in my voicemail it automatically puts in the pin for me, there is always a pause between the number and the pin
