Missing files after migration assistant

After finishing migration to use my new Mac Studio, migration assistant informed me that it hadn’t been able to migrate all files. (For example the content of my Pictures folder is missing.)

How do I transfer the missing files?

And is there an easy way to find out which files were missed?

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205749

The second best way is use the Migration Assistant.

In this migration are you going from a old macOS to a new macOS...

what was the old macOS ..?

what is the current macOS..?

There may have been a few that did not transfer if there was some corruption or outlier....

from the Finder menu >Go>Go to Folder copy and paste:

~/Pictures

Are you saying the folder is empty?
