Notifications issues

Hi everyone I’m hoping someone can help.

on my iPhone 13 (iOS 15.5) when I get notifications from apps that use photos as a profile picture to show someone has sent me a message E.g WhatsApp, iMessage and Snapchat, after a while of using my phone and receiving notifications the emoticon will go away and I’m left with this blank space, like in the image, where the picture of the person who has sent me the message should be.

When I restart my phone the images will return but after a while it does the same. Can anyone help?
