How Determine Storage Capacity on Erased iphone4 with no Sim Card?

Preparing to sell an iPhone 4, I signed out of iCloud/apple, and chose “erase all content & settings”. Now it’s at the welcome / setup screen. Mission accomplished.

Except that the buyer wants to know how many GB of storage the phone has.

The phone back has no serial number that I can see. Just model number A1332, EMC#, FCC ID & IC#.  So I can’t look it up, right?

And I can’t get to the “settings” menu because there’s no sim card, and apparently a sim card required to go any further.  (I chose English, USA, local wifi, it tried to activate. Now it says, “SIM Required, try again”)

Is there any way to determine the GB?  And if not, WTF?

Yes, you can put another SIM card in; the SIM card doesn’t have to be a working one, it can be an expired one, it just has to be for the carrier the phone is locked to if it is locked. Just reset it again after you get the information you need.

You need the “other” model number that ends in /A. If you have no documentation then there’s no real way to find out the storage. The actual value of a 12 year old iPhone 4 is around $5. I hope you aren’t selling a completely useless phone that will not work on any US network after this year, and only Verizon until the end of the year, for much more than that.
