My iphone 13 mini keeps sending me notifications that I have new voicemails. Additionally, there is a little red 3 by the icon for the phone app. Yet when I ring Voicemail I'm told there are no new messages.
It has been like this for several weeks now. I've tried turning off notifications, turning off the phone, then starting up again, but nothing gets rid of the phantom 3 calls.
Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

I suggest that you contact your cellular carrier and ask them, since VoiceMail is a specific carrier service.

I actually solved this problem a minute after posting. I rang up my mobile from my landline, and left a voice mail. Logically, the little red 3 should have turned into a red 4, but instead it became a red 2, then when I deleted the voicemail I'd left, it disappeared. Go figure!
Glad you could work it out.
But I would still contact your cellular provider to have your voicemail box checked.
