Thinking of changing laptop to mac, running tea dances with mp3 files on usb stick into MP3 player, would I still be able to transfer files from laptop to MacBook, then transfer them to memory stick and play them in MP3 player in the same format? Many thanks for your help Chris

Files are platform neutral. Provided your memory stick is in a cross platform compatible format (typically FAT32/exFAT) you can copy files to and from it, or access them, with either OS. Newer Macs use Music rather than iTunes as the default audio player, but you can use other software.
