My daughters phone went black, she can still receive calls but she can’t see anything on her phone
Why is my daughters phone blacked out? You can hear the phone ring but you can’t answer bc you can’t see the screen

Try a "forced" restart of her iPhone, as per these instructions (just to check if it is a temporary glitch):--> Force restart
If the issue persists, it might be a hardware (screen? other internal component?) failure but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.
I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
