MacBook Pro 14 no sound with Music app

Hello,

since upgrading from MacOS 12.3 to 12.4 I have a problem that the Music app is not detecting my external speakers (see below). So if I play music, I can't hear anything.

But if I play something else like YouTube on Safari, it's working well.

The Airplay icon is not showing my speakers (Pebble V3) but the system icon does.

Any ideas?

Hey mr-mario,

How are your speakers connected to your Mac? Are they connected via Bluetooth or something else?

Since the issue began, have you been able to restart both your Mac and your speaker to see if that helps?

If you start your Mac into safe mode, does the same issue occur there? This article explains how: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
