Hi all, I'm having lot of issues with UserNotifcationCentre popups freezing on my new (refurbished) 2019 i9 iMac running Monterey 12.4. Every time I try to install some new software I'm getting these popups that won't go away which means I can't install what I'm trying to install. I have to do a logout and this removes them. Any ideas please? Is this a bug in the OS?

The alerts can be dismissed from the Activity Monitor stopping the process UserNotificationCenter. The process will reappear next time the system shows another system alert.
The problem can be reproduced on affected computers by removing disk access for an application in Settings > Security & Privacy > tab Privacy > Full Disk Access. Then try to access a new folder with the same application.

Thanks but this doesn't help in this situation as the pop-ups are freezing and will not go away unless I logout or restart the machine. That's the issue. It's frozen for several bits of software now including Spotify.
Glad I'm not the only one! Let's hope someone knows the answer. I suspect it's a bug that Apple needs to fix.
