I am having issues with this iPad and am unable to do a hard reset

I am trying to hard reset this iPad to start fresh. After a trip it started acting up

If you are trying to restore your iPad to factory settings and are running into issues, follow the ‘If you can't erase your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch’ section of this article that you’ve already looked over: How to factory reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


There are some helpful steps here as well: If you can't update or restore your iPad


If this continues after looking over those, please provide more details on what’s happening when you try to restore the iPad and if you are getting an error of some kind.
