MacBook Air M1 external display flickering

Hi, I recently bought a MacBook Air M1, and came across an issue whereby my external display (Lenovo monitor) keeps flickering. I have tried turning off true tone and auto brightness, but the problem still remains. Is it a hardware issue or an issue with the Monterey 12.4 software? Please let me know what to do about this issue. TIA!

I have a very serious and very specific screen flickering issue. I tried every ''fix'' I found on forums but nothing helped. I tried different cables, changed the settings around but still the same. External display flickering with M1 iMac Hi, I got a problem with display flickering on my external display connected with my iMac M1. I tried everything I found on internet (changing colour profile -> LCD colour on both, using other cables, cleaned the ports, restarted both devices...) Other devices connected on my external display (Xiaomi Mi 27" monitor) work perfectly. Is it just a software bug with M1 machines, because my Intel Macbook Air works good on the external display as well? Anyways, thanks for answers.

New Mini M1 Screen Flicker Hi I have just got my new Mac Mini M1 but the excitement has been overshadowed by a strange flicker that intermittently occurs on the screen, I am using a Benq 2870U 28 Inch 4K screen connected Via HDMI. The problem is like the brightness of the screen is ‘wobbling’ there does not appear to be any obvious trigger it just occurs – regardless of what I am doing. I have updated to latest MacOS 11.4 but this has not helped. I have also tried other cables again no help. The monitor works fine when connected do a Dell PC, no problems at all. The display setting is set to default for display but I am unsure if this is driving the screen at the 4K resolution? A diagnostic report returns no issues. Apple support have been of no help yet. Does anyone have any similar issues and may be resolution? Thanks 😊
