No. Quick Start occupies both devices, so make sure you choose a time when you won't need to use your current device for several minutes.

Theoretically, it’s not the best idea to continue using the old iPhone. Could lead to data loss/corruption. But if it’s working fine, I don’t see any huge problem with it.
I should also mention that should you have enrolled your old iPhone in iOS beta, it will not be enrolled on your new iPhone. You would have to enrol it manually on the new iPhone.
I’ve noticed that new iPhones generally take a longer time to update, so that should be normal.
I’m pretty sure, but not 100% sure.
Hopefully you have a backup of your old iPhone from before enrolment in the program, and in the unfortunate case that the data doesn’t transfer correctly, you could restore your iPhone from backup.
As far as I know, there’s no differences between iOS 16 and 15 that would prevent data from transferring correctly, unless there’s an unfortunate bug that corrupts transfers.

In general you can never transfer data from a later version to an earlier version. So if you have 15.5 on the source device you cannot transfer data even to a device with 15.4, you must update the target device to 15.5 first. So I am 100% sure it can’t be done from a beta to a GA version.

If u tried to leave you know the “program” when transferring to a new phone will you lose all your data or like why is it saying it won’t be able to transfer the data

I’m not sure if you can transfer data from an iPhone enrolled in that program to a new iPhone, but you should be able to, theoretically.
The profile will not be transferred to your new iPhone, and you will have to enrol the new phone separately.

ok well let me tell u what’s happening I brought the iPhone 13 Pro Max and I have a iPhone 11 my iPhone 11 already has the iOS 16 thing on it and the second updat just came out but I never updated it on the 11 so when I went to switch phones during the set up process it asked do u want to stay in the program or leave and when I was gonna do leave it was talking about I couldn’t transfer what ever what ever so then I pressed stay and it started updating the program on to the pro max
