I made a new apple id for my mac which I recently got. Noticed i was getting notifs saying to reset my password. When i click forgot password it says "this apple id is not active". I also tried resetting it through icloud.com and still got the same error message. I have no idea what could be causing this. Not a lot of answers online from what I've seen. Thanks.

i'm not, where it says tell us what's happening i type disabled apple id, choose the topic "Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons alert", after clicking learn more it asks me to enter my apple id where i get the same "this apple id is not active".
Check for an option to type your own message. If there isn't one, select a different country or click here.

i tried unlocking my account but when i type my id in it gives me "this apple id is not active" so i have no way of unlocking my account
