Anyone else’s device filling up, even after disabling screensaver downloads, deleting apps? My 64gb Apple TV had only 5gb free (TV Info app). I ended up doing a “Reset with Updates.” Now I have almost 53gb free. Why?!? Fortunately, setting up TV using cloud for sync, and Bluetooth settings shared from my phone, everything returned as before (except signing in again on some apps, though YouTube and some others signed in from my phone).

Don’t worry about it. It doesn’t need manual management. Apple TV keeps its temporary cache files as long as it isn’t needed for other things. That may seem like it results in low free space, but much is purgeable when needed for its primary function.

All third party apps, including the TV Info app, are sandboxed and can only have limited information. Trust that tvOS itself will take care of it.

If you have many large apps, then those can be ‘offloaded’ automatically (as needed), based on infrequent use. Manage Apple TV storage - Apple Support
