I bought a replacement airpod and now all of a sudden when i go to connect them I’m getting a airpod mismatch warning but I haven’t been around anyone nor do anyone have AirPods in my home accept me.

getting a mismatch airpod pro warning but my AirPods are still together and i am now hearing high static in them whenever i try to connect or use them.

This is even when no app audio is running - in fact it is more noticeable when nothing is playing, or during quiet speech etc. I notice there have been a number of other such questions about this but they do not get answered but referred to a much earlier issue with Airpod pros (1st gen) here, which is not the case: If your AirPods Pro (1st generation) make crackling or static sounds - Apple Support My airpods have done this from new - they are only a few weeks old. Do I have to return them to the Apple Centre?

I know that certain airpods from before October 2020 are having issues and my airpods are having those static issues. Is there anything you guys can do about this? Can my airpod pro's be replaced if I bought them before October 2020?

Was the replacement AirPod new? Try resetting the AirPods to see if that helps.
