iPhone 11 won’t ring when IPad is on

If you'd like to get notifications on your iPhone when using your iPad, these steps might help. 

Do you have Focus enabled on your iPad when this happens? If so, this is normal behavior for your iPhone to mute notifications and you can turn Focus off to get them again. 

When you use Focus on one device, the setting is automatically applied across your Apple devices that are signed in with the same Apple ID.

If the issue continues, let the community know if your iPhone sends any notifications at all (we're clear that calls don't come through) from other apps.

When this happens, does your iPhone show the missed calls or are there zero notifications of receiving a call? We want to understand if the issue is with only the sound, but also the notification showing as well.
