Iphone 12 will not ring for a phone call or any notification when it is near my ipad air. I do not want to use wifi calling or my ipad for phone calls but this is the only way I can get the iphone to ring when they are close. Any way around it short of switching to a new phone or a different brand of pad?

Dear mstparker,
One thing you can try is, on your iPhone, head to:
Settings > Cellular > Wi-Fi Calling > Off
If those above steps don’t work, try setting on the Phone section of Settings so the calls won’t transfer to your iPad.
