iPad Sound

I did something and now I’m not getting sound on my iPad. I get sound when changing ringtones but, nothing in apps. I recently installed Ring but nothing is connected to Bluetooth. HELP PLEASE!!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, while in an app if you press the Volume Up or Down buttons on the side of the iPad does it show that the volume is adjusting as expected? What happens if you ask Siri to turn the media volume up or down?

I played around with it last night and when I opened the panel by sweeping top right to bottom left I noticed where the volume control was it said Headphones. I couldn’t get it to change. I put it in Airplane Mode and held the volume up on the side while still holding the slide then turned of Airplane Mode and it changed back to volume not headphones. It was pure luck it wasn’t like I knew what I was doing. Here’s a screenshot as I’m probably not saying it right.
