Run-Time Error 53

I'm on Mac OS 12.4 on MacBook Air, and now I get missing Adobe error message when I open Word or Excel file. It reads:

run-time error '53':

File not found:/Library/Application Support/ADobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM

I tried the fix described previously going to WORD/Tools/Templates and click on linkCreation.dotm but I am not able to delete it as the - box is not highlighted.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Eric

The error re-occurred on my MacBook with Monterey 12.6 recently after an Office update.

All I had to do.

Open Terminal Application, type "rm ~/Library/Group\ Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User\ Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word/linkCreation.dotm" , hit enter.

Problem gone.

Cheers

Benny
