New iPhone

I’ve ordered a new iPhone through my telco & it arrive on Tuesday, obviously I want to transfer all my data.

How do I know if data is on my SIM or the iPhone itself?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 15

An iPhone does not store any user data on the SIM.
