How do I remove my favourite sports team for Apple TV on iOS without a TV?

When I first used the app, it had me select a favorite sports team. I would now like to remove that team from as my favourite so I stop receiving recommendations for it in my Up Next, but I can only find information on how to do this on a smart TV with the Apple TV app, which I do not own. How do I remove my favorite sports team on Apple TV iOS without a Smart TV?

iPhone > Apple TV app > select Sports in the left navigation > Scroll down to the selector at the bottom
