Hey ak211,

It sounds like you have a concern with increasing storage space, but that doesn't seem reflected in the reporting storage.

Have you made sure to also delete the Recently Deleted folder? This will permanently remove the photos from iCloud and the device, which currently may still be taking up storage space: Delete photos on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

Cheers.

Hello Ak211,

We wouldn't say that iCloud isn't syncing. Did you remove all contents from the Recently Deleted folder within the Photos app? If not, then these photos will still appear as available in iCloud. Meaning, the space won't be clear to make it available for use: Delete photos on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Delete photos permanently

If you want to permanently delete your photos or videos, you can remove them from the Recently Deleted album. When you delete a photo from this album, you can't get it back. Here's how to delete photos permanently:

1. Open Photos and tap the Albums tab.
2. Tap the Recently Deleted album, then tap Select.
3. Tap the photos or videos that you want to delete or tap Delete All.
4. Tap Delete again to confirm.

In case this doesn't help, does this occur when you connect to other Wi-Fi networks on your iPhone?

We hope this helps out, take care.
