My iphone 13 screen is completely blacked out. I'm trying to log into my apple id from my other device but it wont give me the option for a SMS code so that i can verify its me logging in.

Apple ID Hey, I am trying to sign into my Apple ID on my iPhone after it had to be reset. It's asking me to verify my email, but I can't because I can't receive a code via text message until I'm signed into my Apple ID. How can I get back into my iPhone?

Follow these steps, testing after each step:

If that didn’t work, then I recommend service.
