Can I use the U1 chip in an iPhone to locate another iPhone?

My iPhone 12 mini just got stolen. I was trying to find it but it only shows me, that it is inside a house. I tried to use my fathers iPhone 12 Pro to locate it and thought it would be more accurate with the U1 chip. Is there any way to make it more accurate?

I misread your message that it was inside YOUR house. Sorry for my misconception. In general when a phone is indoors you can’t get a more precise measurement of its location.

It also isn’t clear what you could do with that information if you could get it. It’s generally a bad idea to confront a thief; people have died trying to do that. Here is Apple’s advice on what to do if your phone is stolen→If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support
