Video sharing within household

I have an Apple TV connected to my home theater system plus several HomePods, MacBooks and iPads in the household. I'm trying to play content in the Home Theater (a movie or sporting event) and link things such that the video and sound plays simultaneously on other devices throughout the house so you see the same thing at the same time in different rooms. It seems neither SharePlay or AirPlay really does this. The only path I see is to have different users signed in to each video capaable device, starting a FaceTime call and using SHarePlay. But, I can't FaceTime myself on all the devices. Or, can't figure out how too.
