What happens to Apple Watch data

Hi! If I move to another country and get a new phone number on my iPhone, what will happen to all the data on my Apple Watch when I put the new SIM card in my phone? Will I lose my data (the friends, the competitions, the awards etc)? Like if I’m currently in a competition with someone and I switch my SIM card to a new phone number and different phone company, what happens to the data and competitions I have?
