Solved: Emoji not showing up in picker

I had an issue where the emoji picker was missing a lot of emoji and showing blanks.

The way I solved it was going to Font Book and resolving the duplicate of the Apple Color Emoji font. For some reason, I had a really old version active.

Recent emojis not working after clearing frequently used characters After updating my Macbook Pro to Sequoia 15.3.1, i noticed my recent emoji section wasn't updating. It was stuck on the last emojis i was using before the update. So i decided to clear frequently used characters in the emoji and symbols panel. But now it's even worse. The recent emoji section is completely gone and it's not storing any of my frequently used emojis, no matter how much i use an emoji. Emojis not displaying properly in macOS Messages When I send or receive emojis using my Macbook Pro's Messages app, they are not displayed properly in the main Messages window. However, they do appear normally in the message previews on the side of the app. The "Apple Color Emoji - Regular" font is installed in my macbook. I do quite a bit of graphic design so I'm not too excited about doing Restore Standard Fonts in Font Book and having to reinstall all my fonts, especially since that is not a promising solution at all. The standard font is still there and working, and I can browse and send emojis just fine; it appears just Messages' display of these emojis is broken. I've only been able to find one other instance of this problem, which was in this post: Question Mark Instead Of Emoji In macOS M… - Apple Community However, that user's solution of changing Messages' font size did not fix my problem, and there were no other comments on that post. So I'm here asking for any help. I've got a 2017 MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6

The newest emojis cannot be shown on Big Sur. The v14.0 & v15.0 emojis cannot be shown properly on Big Sur. And Apple doesn't allow me to update to a newer system. But I find out the missing emojis can be shown in many other desktop apps. So can I fix the emojis for system?
