Orange dot on my iPhone X status bar

there is orange dot on my iphone x status bar. I closed all apps, turned off all app microphones but orange dot is still always on screen. what can i do?

Orange dot no apps with mic on Ever since the last update, I have an orange dot on my phone, or the time appears orange even though I do not have any apps using my mic. I’ve gone to settings/privacy and microphone and all apps with mic access are turned off. How can I learn why my phone is allowing mic access?

If you swipe down from the top right, you'll open Control Center, which will show you exactly what your microphone is being used for.
