LG Monitor Flashing and burning in when connected to my MacBook
Hey, super weird question for you guys!
I have a LG 27GL650F-B 27 Inch UltraGear Full HD IPS Gaming Monitor with G-Sync® Compatible, Adaptive-Sync.
(I know, it's a long name)
Any who, when it's connected to my Gaming Windows PC, I have 0 issues what so ever.
But the problem is when it gets connected to my 14" 2021 MacBook Pro.
For some reason when displaying certain images (mainly ones with darker scenes) it starts to flicker, and I can see lines.
Sometimes, or bad conditions, it will even start flashing its brightness and start to burn in the image until 5-10 minutes when it will go away.
I have tried using my MacBooks HDMI port and an adapter, and both seem to have this issue.
I have done some basic troubleshooting like restarting my Mac, reseting my monitor and just leaving it be for a week or so, and all failed to fix the issue.
Sorry if this question seems like less of an Apple one, and more of a LG support one.
But honestly I have no idea who to ask!
Thanks very much, please get back when you get a moment!
(I asked this same question with the Apple displays community, but they said to ask you guys)
