I recently bought some smart timers and since they were homekit compatible I decided to give it go instead of using the manufacturer app. One issue/question is I would like to either have:
a) a specific off time or
b) a timer that goes longer than 4 hours.
Is this possible? If so how? Currently, it looks like I can only set a timer to start at a certain time and then turn off after 4 hours max. Thanks.
There is no ideal way to get around the 4 hour limit.
The best option is to set separate automations for on and off.
eg. Turn on light at 16:30
Turn off light at 22:00

Dumb question, I can't see an "off" option only on? Or do you set the automation to ON and then a 1 minute time limit to simulate being turned off:
Is that how HomeKit work? Seems counterintuitive.
