I am trying to transfer photos from an iphone to a personal surface computer and it will not allow me

I cannot get my photo's to transfer from my iphone to my Surface PC

How are you trying to transfer them to the Surface? Is it running Windows 10 or 11? How are you connecting the iPhone to the Surface? What type of error are you seeing that it will not allow you to transfer?
