Does my notification email address have to be different from my Apple ID address? Currently all of my notifications go to an email address I don't currently use. If the notification address can be the same how and where do I change the notification address?

You can use the email address as your Apple ID and your “Reachable At” address. You can Manage your Apple ID settings online. Your Reachable At" address can be found under Personal Information. You can learn how to change your Apple ID email address here: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
