ID change

Looking at your account details, you can change information there to help Apple determine the gender.

Apple Advertising & Privacy details can be found in the link Legal - Data & Privacy - Apple. It explains how gender is determined.

We may use information such as the following to assign you to segments:

• Account Information: Your name, address, age, gender, and devices registered to your Apple ID account. Information such as your first name in your Apple ID registration page or salutation in your Apple ID account may be used to derive your gender. You can update your account information on the Apple ID website.

Going to Manage your Apple ID allows you to check how the information looks.

This should help you with selecting or inputting the information for the gender related ads.

To change the gender listed on the Apple ID you'll want to first sign into your Apple ID here: Manage your Apple ID

If it doesn't launch to the Privacy page, go ahead and select that from the left column here. Then, select Gender here on the page. This will have a few different options to choose from.

The Gender setting also helps to note the following:

For changes to this setting to take effect, all your iOS devices must have iOS 14.5 or later and all your Macs must have macOS 11.3 or later.
