WatchOS notification

My watch has been saying it’s needed to be updated for a while now. Every time I try to it just sits at a black screen saying “looking for uodate” and never moves on from this. It’s terribly annoying to receive the watch update notifications sometimes I get them three times within a 15 second period. Please help!

Turn off auto updates then;

Try to update from the watch itself.

Restart the watch.

Place the watch on the charger.

Make sure that your watch is connected to wifi.

On your watch, open the Settings app.

Tap General > Software Update.

Tap Install if a software update is available, then follow the onscreen instructions.
