So when I want to open whatapp it says that it requires my pasword, but this is quite inconvenient for me since I use the app frequently. There for my question on how to switch this off?

In the internal settings for the app you should find this option in Settings/Account/Privacy/Screen Lock, at the bottom of the page.

Did you try to use FaceID to unlock the app?
Go to Settings/FaceID & Code/Use FaceID -> Other Apps and enable WhatsApp in the apps listed
Thank you very much for the tip, but still I find it a hassel is there also a way to get rid of the password/Face ID request in general for the app?
