Magic mouse lagging

Hello, I left my Microsoft mouse at work yesterday and thought it would be a great opportunity to get a magic mouse this morning. I was looking forward to use the side scroll while editing but unfortunately it's laggy. My computer is a macbook pro 2019 2.3ghz 16g ram with a radeon pro 560x.

Any idea what the problem is and how to fix it before I return it to the store? It is not a scrolling speed issue!

scroll wheel on 3rd party mouse I’ve recently bought a new mouse for my MacBook, specifically the Logitech g502, everything else about it works fine, but the scrolling is inconsistent. the scrolling speed seems to bounce around a lot and I’ve never had this problem when using the Magic Mouse, is there a fix to this?

Mouse Lag in Mac OS Monterey So I upgraded my MBP late 2015 to Monterey. First I just upgraded and all worked fine expect from an overheating issue. I decided to wipe the disk and do a fresh install. Overheating issue is gone but now I'm facing another issue. The apple Magic Mouse 2 are lagging. After what I've read it seems like I'm not alone with this. Any news about this issue/any ways to fix it? Thank you!
