Telecom operator in Bosnia problems with SMS's.

Hello Community, I have a question in regards to a big problem many of us residing in Bosnia & Herzegovina are facing in regards to the telecom/service provider with one major company named BH Telecom / Ultra ( state owned ). The problem is that SMS messages are being sent to a set of numbers in the UK, the explanation from the companies side is that while the iPhone tries to activate the iMessages & Facetime option it sends messages to the UK as so to activate these options. Even though we have sent many claims and asked multiple times in regards to this matter, the answer from the companies side would be that '' the problems are caused by Apple not us '' and their solution would be to turn off the iMessages and Facetime, even by doing so the SMS's won't stop. Apple, I as a citizen of Bosnia & Herzegovina and as an Apple user since 2011 would like to have an answer as so I could contact the service provider and come to a solution that many of us are facing here. Regards,

That is true.

You are using an unsupported carrier, and you will be charged for the background text messages used to activate FaceTime and iMessage.

It is your choice to activate knowing you may be charged, or to cancel and not use these features.

Or you switch to a supported mobile carrier.

It is not only in Bosnia & Herzegovina, this can also happen in other parts of the world when an unsupported carrier is use.

Perhaps Is your Wi-Fi network Is unavailable?

Turn on Wi-Fi network: Settings ☞ tap on Wi-Fi ☞ turn Wi-Fi ON

You have to make the Wi-Fi network available, because the phone sent 'silent' message at the background to the server, trying to activate your request.
