Desktop iMac purchased 16 months ago won't power on

My iMac (purchased in February 2021) won't power on. I received the following diagnosis from a local repair shop -

"I’m suspecting that it’s got faulty main logic board.

Built in LED diagnostics only light up to LED #2 – it only flickers by pressing power button and will not power on the system.

Got same result after swapping out with power supply. The cost to repair is approximately $850."

Does this seem like a reasonable diagnosis?

I would do some troubleshooting on your own first - If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support

If nothing helps, try contacting Apple Support. If you do decide to pursue repair, ensure that the repair shop is Apple certified (and check around to see what other repair shops charge).
