Strange Behavior on ONE Website

Its an iPad Pro, about 7 years old. It works perfectly except for ONE Website: the Washington Post newspaper site, and one feature, the Comments section where subscribers can comment on a story.

After about 60 minutes of interaction on the site, submitting comments, the Comment page fails to load. The progress bar always stops at the 50% level and never goes any further. This always corrects itself with a reboot of the iPad.

This problem never occurs when I access the site via my Windows PC. I've never had it either on my iPhone SE.

My iPad has 32GB of memory, with 14GB showing free.
