Lost iPhone location

I received this message after my wife’s phone got stolen. I suspect it was sent by hackers to get information on passcode. It requested the passcode to show location. Afterwards the device is no longer showing under find my.

You are right. This is phishing. Do not divulge any info.


Don'ts

If you remove the device from your account after you erase it, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use your device.


An example of my iPhone 5 is given in the GIF below. There is no "Undo" after you remove it from your account.
