Apple Watch Face: stocks don't update and sometimes disappear

It's frustrating to read that this problem has been going on for a long time and Apple hasn't addressed it. The stock on my watch face either disappears or doesn't update regularly. I have to tap it to make it update and most of the time it is not updated along with the stock info on my iPhone. This began happening two updates ago. I've had Apple watches since the beginning and have never had this problem. What's worse, it is Apple's own stock that doesn't update or disappears.

I've turned both devices off and restarted. I've tried turning the stocks off. I've unpaired and re-paired. My warranty ends in October. I wonder if something like this is covered.
