Delayed Notifications and Calls

I am getting issues with notifications and calls being delayed ranging from 5 minutes to hours. This hinders with my work as I don't receive calls in WhatsApp or in google duo until I open whatsapp or google duo, and I also receive missed call notification delayed. This issue is not device related or anything as my old iPhone XR also had similar problems since updating to iOS 14. I have tried the following steps:

1) Resetting all settings

2) Fidgeting with Notification Scheduled Summary

3) Changing to new iPhone

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 15

Troubleshooting Delayed iPhone Items:

Contact your Carrier:

If Notifications and Calls are being delayed, then contact your carrier, as they are one who provide you with the service of Cellular.

🙂 Calling the Carrier is a thought --so I'd say call them, seeing what they have to say on this.

I called my carrier and they said they didn't had any such issues before, and that from carrier side everything is working properly. I also went abroad for a month before, and even after changing carriers, during the trip, the problem persisted. I don't think the problem is from carrier side and even they stated that everything is working properly from their side.

Any other solutions?

Update: I found a similar old thread, there it was asked if you use apple watch. I do use apple watch, is it watch issue?

Calls as in calls over internet such as google duo calls, whatsapp calls. It’s not an cellular issue as it persists during WiFi also. Even imessage gets delay.
