the phone number is not in my contact list and the “report” link doesn’t appear anymore.
If you stil know the number (check the message that you received), contact your carrier, and ask to block that number.

No, if you haven't jailbroken your iPhone, it's not possible.

The fastest way is to contact your carrier, and ask to block that number.
You can also remove that number (& the contact person) completely from your Contacts.

Create a strong password for your Apple ID, It is best if your password consists of eight or more characters and include upper and lowercase letters, and at least one number. You can also add extra characters and punctuation marks to make your password even stronger.

I’ve added a few numbers to a “Spam” entry in my contacts, blocked that content, set the ringer to a silent tone (scrounge one or create one), and disabled vibrate.
