iPhone no longer receiving texts

I was given a temporary phone # when changing my account from business to personal account. Transition is complete and my old phone # is restored. Suddenly last week I stopped receiving text messages and was told by one person that the # that showed when I texted him was not my #. I believe the temporary # is still some how interfering wit my original #. Strange thing is, at first I was receiving and sending texts with no problem.

I understand that this must be a frustrating issue.

Before you contact your carrier I'd suggest that you throw an eye on the iPhone's settings, I presume you're still able to make and recieve calls. Please see below.

Settings > iMessage "Enabled" Yes/No

If yes, navigate further down to "send and recieve". Make sure you're new number is check in that list.
