Headphone adapter no longer works after I recieved a call on Discord

I got a call on discord while I was listening to music and now my phone does not recognise any lighting adapters. I have restarted my phone multiple times and tried cleaning the port. My phone charges with no problems at all and my phone functions otherwise normally. I have tried everything and I don't know what to do.

Lightening port to audio jack still not working. I’ve just upgraded from an iPhone 10 to a 14 Pro and STILL the lightening adapter to audio jack DOES NOT input audio properly. Upon inserting adapter the iphone asks what it should be Headphones or “other” selecting Other should be correct because you want to CAPTURE audio coming IN to the phone. NOT sending audio to headphones. There is NO dust or debris in these devices. Please stop telling people to clean their phones. This is SOFTWARE and HARDWARE issues. What is the fix? Even GarageBand won’t recognize any audio source coming into thru the lighting adapter. This is a broken feature that has been present for years.

Headphone adapter is not working My headphone adapter works on every single iPhone except for my iPhone 7. My iPhone 7 can be charged and connected to a computer and be recognized properly so I don't know what the problem is.

Discord is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or Discord Support
