MacBook Pro screen flickering

My MacBook Pro 13" 2019 four thunderbolt....screen started flickering recently. There has been no trauma to the device. I have tried updating software, draining the battery, and other solutions (short of removing the back and checking for short circuits) offered up by various Youtube savants, all to no avail.

Thoughts?

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

if no resolve you can

Try resetting the SMC How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support see the details.

If you plug into a external monitor and compare your results.

No insight or resolve

you can run the user Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.
