SE Watch Battery Health -- how do I check it?

I know how to check my iPhone's battery health. Expected Watch's Settings would have similar option.

Watch Settings doesn't give a battery health option. User Guide with SE Watch isn't helpful, either.

All I can find is the watch's charge percentage & no further detail . Bought watch in 2019. Worked great until update OS8.6 - now charging watch more than 2 times a day instead of just once,

You should be able to find battery status by opening Settings directly from the Watch, going to the “Battery” section, and tapping “Battery Status.”

As for the very short battery life, I have had the same problem in recent months. I fixed it by doing a very simple factory reset of the watch and reconfiguring it via backup.

Thanks to both. I figured out I wasn't touching my crown enough to access Settings to be able to check Battery Health (which is 85%).

Also completely restarted watch & iPhone in case update didn't load completely. Will give the watch another couple of days to see if the "energy drain" fixes itself. In meantime, will carry charging cord with me.

Then will try the " factory reset of the watch and reconfiguring it via backup" if the drain still is happening.

appreciate the input
